Measure the front bar of the clothesline and this will give you the width. Next measure the side bar from front to back where the clothesline attaches to the wall or poles (free standing clothesline) and this will give you the depth of your clothesline.

The cover is made as a multi-fit design so it will fit from 2100mm to 2400mm wide. There will be a certain amount of gap if your clothesline is bigger than 2200mm wide as the cover is made to 2200mm in width.

There are numerous brass eyelets down the side of the cover and you will need to pick the one that best suits your clothesline and place the ladder lock straps through there and secure to your clothesline at the back making sure the cover is taught.

If you have excess material hanging down at the back of your clothesline then fold this inwards and place the ladder lock strap through 2 eyelets (the very last eyelet and the eyelet you need for your clothesline) then secure as per instructions. This will give you a very neat fold.

Over time rotary clotheslines are pulled out of shape. You may find that all sides are different measurements. The cover is made to fit a square clothesline so you may need to have your clothesline adjusted to make it square again.

The covers are made to be multifit and some clotheslines will have overhang and other clotheslines will have the cover fit perfectly. Both ways look very good.

No the sun damages fibres and bleaches clothes. You could put your clothes in an air tight container in the sun for a week and they would still be wet and mouldy as well.

Air dries clothes and linen so when clothes are hung on the line under a CLEVACOVER clothesline cover they will dry because there is always air around.

Please be aware that the drying time differs depending on the season.

If there is a breeze around then the clothes and linen on your clothesline will dry. On occasions you may need the dryer to finish them off for maybe 10 minutes.

In the past 8 years since having my cover on my clothesline I have used the dryer maybe half a dozen times. If there is a breeze around then they will dry, however during winter you may need the dryer to finish clothes off.

You will however notice a difference in the amount of time the dryer is on and the amount of use the dryer gets.

How to measure a rotary clothesline

Measuring your rotary clothesline for a Clevacover clothesline cover could not be easier, it only takes one simple measurement!

There are four arms on your rotary clothesline. Simply measure on the diagonal, along the metal arms, start from one corner measure straight through the centre, along the arms of your clothesline, to the opposite corner. And there you have it the only measurement you will need.

Please note

- Do Not measure up and over the centre if your rotary clothesline as the height has already been taken into consideration.

- Do Not measure the four sides of the rotary clothesline, this will not give you the correct size.
