The rotary clothesline covers fits all folding rotary and traditional Hills Hoist clotheslines that are square and 3.6m - 3.8m in diameter.

How Do I Measure?

Measuring is easy! Only ONE simple measurement is required!

You will need -

  • 1 x measuring tape
  • Someone to hold the other end of the tape for you
  • Pen and paper writing down your measurement.


How to measure a rotary clothesline for a rotary clothesline cover
As shown in the image displayed, just measure your clothesline on the diagonal from the tip of one arm, through the center of the clothesline to the end of the opposite arm. (A - B)

There you have it. This is the only measurement you will need.

Things to note

  • you don't want to go up and over the top of the clothesline. Just measure straight from one corner to the opposite corner in a straight line on the diagonal
  • you need to measure the length of 2 arms
  • you do not need to measure any of the four sides.
  • All rotary clothesline covers are a square. Some rotary clotheslines may need there strings adjusted to place them back into alignment and make them square again.

Old one started to rot after 7yrs, good value I think for something not under cover itself,good stuff and makes complete sense

Way better than expected

I was so happy to see this arrive and only took me 20 mins to get it together and put on clothsline. Excellent quality, lm so glad l purchased. Saves me standing in sun, cloths are protected from weather and birds

Our Clevacover has been brilliant!

The Cover

It is a little problematic to put the two cross beams through the hoops, but two people make it easier for sure. Fits like a glove on the clothes hoist. The boss and I like it and so does our dog. The shade is great and minimal chance of bird droppings now, Yippee. Also a Tip ok. I noticed the cover wearing underneath the hoist. It was rubbing on the metal sheath that joins the fibreglass rods. I cut lengths of old garden hose and cut one side down the middle. Then just placed over metal sheath and bobs your uncle ok. Solved that issue as it flaps somewhat in mild winds even with the straps fairly tight. “ Happy Purchase”
